Size-Based Prefixes

Tiny-, Big-, Small-, Little-, Large-, Tall-, Short-, and variations thereupon are not used in this system, despite the presence of Talltail/star and Littlecloud in the first-arc timespan. The simple reason for this is because all kittens are of generally similar size when born and named, and their future growth cannot be accurately predicted. 

Additionally, the purpose of a prefix is to aid in identifying strange cats, and cats of different sizes and experiences will have differing standards by which they determine if a cat is exceptionally large or small.

Cats with Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat ancestry sill should not receive size prefixes, because if there is a family of exceptionally large cats in a Clan, it would still be necessary to differentiate between them. For example: “We chased a ThunderClan cat off our territory! It was one of those big toms, the ginger and white one!” “That foxheart, Asphodelfang!” is much more useful than, “Ginger and white? Is that Tallclaw, or Bigfang?” A color identifier is much more useful in such a case.
