Giggles and loud footsteps were all that could be heard the quiet halls as the princess rushed towards her sister’s study with a piece of paper in hand. Sloppy, colorful writing decorated the page, and Anna beamed at her sister as she set it on her desk.
Trading Christmas lists was a tradition between the two sisters, and Anna had been determined to finish hers first this year.
"Here’s my Christmas list," She announced proudly, as if it was a formal audience with the queen. Of course, to the little one, this was much more important than any meeting. "Items numbered one through then are my top picks.”
The sudden opening of the door certainly caught Elsa's attention, and she glanced up over the page she was reading. Her little sister got a warm, inviting smile from the Queen. Her work would be put aside for the little Princess, every single time.
As the page was pushed towards her, she picked it up, adjusting the reading glasses on the end of her nose. Normally Anna liked to make a contest of it, and Elsa would gladly oblige. A wonderful thing about her position was that she could afford to spoil her little sister at Christmas.
"Are they now?" she asked lightly, scanning her eyes over the words. "My, your handwriting has gotten neat. And is number one your very top pick?"
A pat against her knee was an open invitation for Anna to climb up if she wished.
