Isaac had overslept again, and by the time he managed to get out of the house it was too late to get to school in time for his second period, so he decided to skip the day altogether. It wasn't wise and Scott was going to remind him of that soon enough, but for the time being he decided not to care. He headed to the coffee shop not far from the school, determined to get a latte. As he walked, he noticed someone ahead of him, going in the same direction, but paid little attention to who it could have been.

However, a few moments later, he saw something fall from the other person's backpack and he hurried up. "Hey," he called as he reached the object, only to realize it was a phone. "You dropped this," he said as he held it out to the other.

Last Resort

Gabriel prowled around the resort. He could not find the ice machine. It was the first vacation he'd actually been by himself. No attendants, no PA, only his bodyguard Cicily, who was currently out skiing. It had been suggested he take a break from politics for a while after his most recent, and disastrous, pres conference. He would have preferred somewhere warm like California, but the best, least crowded place they found had been a ski resort in Wyoming, so that was where he'd been dragged to. There was an unspoken agreement that the vacation was for his health, but Gabriel didn't really think it would help him.

He didn't know how long he'd been looking for the damn ice machine though. All Gabriel wanted was to relax in his room with a bottle of chilled champagne. Spotting a young woman down the hall, he lost patience and decided just to ask.

"Hello, I'm Gabriel can I bother you for a moment?"
