Wolfwood doesn't understand much about the woman outside of the fact that she's not from around here. She gets all judgy at Gunsmoke for not having space-faring technology anymore, or whatever. He can't imagine how she'd react to seeing some of the shit he has.

'I think we're pretty similar in that we broke off from the organization we were associated with. I don't understand it, or her powers, or her weapon, but I have a feeling both of us share the sentiment that our trust doesn't come easily.'

Gray doesn't hide blood as well as black does.

So when Wolfwood doffs his blazer and sets it to the side, the black stain on his back becomes visible—and it only seems to be growing.

The shirt isn't pierced in any way, it seems as though he either got the wound while shirtless or had a change of shirt on hand. At first he doesn't seem to be fazed by it, but then he feels Israa's eyes boring through him and lets out a sigh.

"Shit's bleeding again, huh," he speaks as though it's only a minor setback instead of a large gash across his left shoulder blade, "Wish it would make up its mind already."

The undertaker removes his soiled gray button-down, revealing the gash. It seems to fit perfectly with a medical scar that runs down his spine.
