As much as I enjoyed the first episode with all the Varchie I could eat, I've gotta say that Grundy's death was stupid. Did they really expect us to believe that she was killed by a cello bow? A cello bow that was somehow strong enough to cut her throat? If he'd used a string from her cello then I'd be all for it but the bow? I can't. I love how camp the show is and how much it acknowledges it's own campiness but that was really just dumb in my eyes.

It’s Riverdale. It doesn’t make sense usually.
But, it did serve some poetic justice though.
It really did feel like by using that cello bow, the Angel of Death was somehow avenging what she did to Archie, personally.
If its reported in the news as so, I can definitely see Archie feeling somehow responsible and/or connected to that murder since they used the bow he gave her. =/
