1. As a matter of fact, Maëliss loves being the center of attention. She’ll get jealous if anybody steals the spotlight away from her. She’s really self-absorbed.
2. She’s self-confident and there is not an inch of her body she does not love.
3. She refuses to eat anything containing mushrooms and will give you looks if you eat any in her presence.
4. When I first created her, I had a completely different concept for her character. She was meant to be this stereotypical mysterious and wise mesmer. Honestly I’m glad she’s become a lively, oversensitive yet lovable brat instead.
5. It may be a shock to hear that her dearest friend is a calm, passive, peace and nature loving druid. The two of them are like night and day and as much as she talks about wanting to give him a makeover, she wouldn’t trade him off for anything or anyone in the whold world.
6. She is a passionate lover. She enjoys the thrills of courtship whether she’s the one being coveted or the one doing the coveting. Exchanging perfumed love letters, being serenaded by a lover outside her window, receiving whimsical gifts she might never find a use to, fancy dates in luxurious cafés and restaurants are all reasons she is so fond off being courted. Unfortunately once the exhilaration of dating fades away, she tends to lose interest in the relationship.
7. She’s a talented harpist. She loves to play for gatherings in the Grove. Her singing, while not nearly as good, is pleasant to listen to and complements her music nicely.
8. She is flirtatious and provocative. She does not care for subtlety when it comes to romantic advances. Thankfully this often works out for her. However, some find it aggravating.
9. While her skin is soft, her body is also covered with countless spikes. You musn’t mind a little pain if you want to feel her. If you point it out, she’ll tell you it adds to the passion.
10. She owns a pet pig and a karka. Both animals are a perfect fit for her as she can feed them anything she likes without fear of harmful consequences.
