Cross-post again. For @jagdstorm, who keeps her man plush apparently. I owe her so much home cooked chilli.

Anyway, this here is the Duke. For this one i used the old master’s palette again, started in Corel. I wanted to really emulate the appearance of oil portraits used by royals and famous figures pre-camera, while retaining my own spin on it and using what digital art has to offer. I had fun!

As I said on my twit, I’m currently self isolating over a persistent cough. I’m taking ko-fi and PayPal commissions at a discounted rate. Minimum would be $5 for a head sketch, moving up based on what you’d like. It’s negotiable, I’m not going anywhere and could use the USD for gog.com purchases….

I won't be participating in Knightober properly; I'm busy writing! But I got Glaze on my PC now so I'll be uploading some Knight-related goodies on Tumblr again.

This one's a tarot card; in the setting @jagdstorm and I've been working on, the Knight takes the place of the Emperor. Like the Emperor, he's a symbol of masculine authority and an enforcer of order; unlike the Emperor, he is beholden to an authority higher than himself.

One of my only recent comms that doesn’t involve ass and so on. They’re not even spicy comms I just draw people with no clothes on a lot. 200 years ago that was the done thing! Anyway this is Lucifer, who is @jagdstorm‘s terrible child. She let me have at it with the armour design so I think I spent nearly as much time researching ideas as I did drawing.

Before and after using the halftone shader. I like the effect a lot, especially close up. At high res it gives the vibe of an aging magazine print too. Might utilise it for a certain project.
