OOC rant about my muses (both on and off tumblr) and their differances:
Snow (on T): She's the one people didn't expect to be a hero, just the rug to walk over, and is pushed into the savior role. She handles it and, despite difficulties and future difficulties she knows she'll have, gets through and manages to stay true to herself and keep her composure. I love this character, despite the fact that it took a long time (maybe a good three years) to get a clear sight of her.
Elizabeth (on T): She's the half-mad one of the group after being thrown into a world where the Grimm Fairy-tales and Alice in wonderland are mixed, and another not-expected-to-be-a-hero type. She goes from being incredibly plain and pacifistic, scared at every turn and hating the idea of being a rule keeper who fights everyone to keep wars turf down. By the middle of the book there's a huge personality change and the fact that she barely remembers anything about her own world, and her entire book is about her trying to leave this world despite it being her refusal to cry that got her cemented into it until she finishes the game. She even makes a deal with the devil (or a deal with Rumplestiltskin in this case, which is basically the same thing). Canonically, she's Snow's cousin, but they are rarely seen together in their own books, simply in flashbacks and some evidence in the few things from home Ellie has. The two of them share the desperation for not showing weakness though, as well as incredibly stubborn personalities.
Kyra (no longer on T): Kyra was my first muse on tumblr, but she reverted to only existing in her book. Once again, canonically related to my other muses as being Snow's descendant, but her story is a good 100 years into the future. Kyra's book is also my first attempt at a Sci-fi fantasy mix, since she goes to a different planet. The only difference between it and earth is that it is relatively untouched by humans. Kyra is a serious people pleaser and the girl who no one ever notices even if she's sitting in the middle of the room with flashing neon signs around her. She was a child that believed in fantasy, that wanted to see Neverland and meet Tinkerbell (she would grab gold glitter containers and beg her mom to buy it under the grounds that she deemed it pixie dust and wanted to use it to fly) within a world that didn't find it socially acceptable, and where science ruled. The odd kid out everywhere due to out-dated fashions and non-scientific ways of thinking, yet she winds up being enlisted to help a colony on an un-named planet and it turns out that the threat are the original colonizers that have become zombie-like creatures. Magic is discovered, everyone turns out to be descendants of mythological creatures that mated with and became human to survive, and Kyra's left alone relatively unchanged due to having suppressed her real self for too long. She's the hero, but a highly unlikely one, and her story is more along the lines of "balance between nature and technology" and "finding and accepting who you are."
Scyllia (never on Tumblr): She is literally a panther. No...seriously. She is a panther who was taken by scientists and experimented on in an attempt to create a "perfect human" with the pure minds of animals that didn't dwell on things like war, only survival, hoping they could be then taught to adapt to human ways, culture, and become perfect once being put into a suitable body. This never worked for Scyllia, and despite her having a human form (and often forced to remain in it) she preferred being a panther and grew to hate humans. Out of the whole lab that genetic mutations of various animals, and despite being a "den mother" among them, she is constantly escaping and fighting their human captives more than everyone else. With the singular hope of returning to the rain forest and simply living an incredibly long panther life. Lethal, smart, and beautiful, she finds various ways to escape captivity, and can play the human card better than anyone else (better than actual humans sometimes) and can get pretty far before she's captured again. Hell, she's only a secondary character in the story she's in! Somehow she became my favorite in it and I may just write her her own.
Theodora (on T): My first canon character, and from Oz the Great and Powerful. She smiles nowadays about as much as Scyllia does, and that's not often. She's been heartbroken and has lost trust in people, but she still has amusing conversations with people and (due to having not bit the apple in this interpretation) she can still do good, she's just no longer inclined to it since she isn't treated like it. Treat her like she's wicked and hate her, she'll act exactly how you expect.
