The warmth of his heat was far greater than the warmth of his body holding her close, perfect. She tucks her head under his chin causing Taeil to laugh at the tickling sensation at his throat. The feeling that his voice and chest generated made Aubrae smile, she felt safe in his arms and the sound of his laughter always made her heart leap.

Their relationship was one many would call coincidence but the two gave no thought to others' impressions of them. She was viewed as weird, loud, sometimes even rude but Taeil saw these features as unique, vocal, and voicing her own opinion. To others he was seen as short and awkward but to Aubrae his height was perfect and his quirks were cute.

The hours were growing later and Aubrae's eyes growing heavier. A soft humming begins. Taeil's voice gently guides her toward sleep but she does not finally drift off until he places a gentle kiss on her forehead.

They may be an odd couple but they are happy and that's all any of their friends could ask for.
