                    (     she's watching the detectives work over a crime scene,                           perched on detective gage's car because -- well, who                           else would let her chill on their car without yelling at her?                           sipping her coffee, she doesn't even glance over at the                           soft thud behind her. it's clearly a vigilante.     )

          This case's a lot less exciting than I thought it'd be.
