‘captain america: the winter soldier’ starter prompts 

              it was a tad unexpected when bucky barnes of all people —— the former winter soldier, or at least the one that was active in duty, came to him for a favor. he was fully aware that he was apparently to be sent to cryostasis in wakanda.. but this was a surprise, perhaps a change of plans? leaning a hip against his desk he’d simply study the ex-soldier, an eyebrow raised in curiosity; but he was listening, and that was enough.

“   what is this favor?   ”

               Their puppy is as tired as they are. It’s pushing 90 degrees, and they’ve been at the park all day. steve pours some more water into the bowl they brought for her, and he sighs softly as he lies back in the grass.

                “your arm okay? not too hot?”
