I’ve never been sexually active, and I don’t really plan to in the near future, but I just feel like bisexuals often get grouped with homosexuals purely for the sake of people wanting things to be either black or write. And it’s really disappointing.

I'm not sexually active either or have been but I know myself you know? What I am attracted to and it isn't one or the other. It just is really disappointing, like you said. what isn't to love about bisexuality?

And it gets even more frustrating when you think that the basic meaning is literally in the name and people still choose to ignore it. jfc

Right??? It's pretty self explanatory. I think what's most frustrating for me is the lgbtqia response to the b portion of their name. Not everyone of course, but there is a sizable population of the community that wouldn't touch a bisexual and think we're laughable and I find that to be really gross.

god, today i was listening to this talk show and this woman (who was described as being ‘very intelligent’) said her daughter describes herself as bisexual, which means she ‘prefers women’. Like, how ignorant can people be? ?

I don't get people! It's extremely frustrating -- we exist! There are some people that like both genders! It's usually not 50/50 but being bisexual does not mean straight, does not mean homosexual, does not mean we're pretending or closeted! I wish people would just get over it.
