Ah well. I'm doing it. An analysis of the Hopevminkook live. muahahaha.
Please note: This is a serious analysis. There are no jokes and everything stated is my complete and honest thoughts.
Disclaimer: The above statement is 98% a lie. This analysis is full of jokes, thoughts, ponderings, and absolute nonsense. Because this blog used to be a fun place to express my thoughts. It's about time I took my space back. lmao
Oh. And there will be timestamps for everything. Because I am so serious about siting sources and making things easy to find for people. So I need to stop being lazy and do that more.
Disclaimer: There are jokes in here, and I do come in a little heavy with them in the beginning. I have jokes throughout, but once the actual live starts, I get a little more serious. I just had to make the first few seconds enjoyable while we waited for them to get started. Please hang in there and read the whole thing if you're interested in my thoughts at all because I do have a few things to say here. On any points that I brought up, I will be taking questions. Or if you have anything else to say about the live. Or if you just wanna talk about other vmin or any other ship or member moments. I'm open for anything.

I mean, the seven of them all have great energy together, but...yeah. Okay. Dance line + Tae is a superb combination, but not the only amazing combination in this team of 7. It's just they're the one in question right now so let me talk about how great their energies are together. Ugh. I'd talk about any other combination the same way if they were the topic lmao.

~00:11:55 - Tae takes a bit of the food that Chim said wasn't spicy, but he thinks it's spicy lmao. He gives Jimin a face and tells him that it's spicy. Jimin says "I know you" and tries the food. Like. Boy. I don't doubt that you know your Tae. But I think he knows himself more. lol At least in terms of what he considers to be spicy or not. Don't worry. I'm not going to pick on you (or assume that you two aren't close/best friends) because you can't gauge his spice tolerance with 100% accuracy. If it was that easy to falter my belief in your friendship, I wouldn't be here lmao
~00:14:35 - Now that he's had some food, Hobi decides to read the comments. He reads one comment, but claims his face causes an unstable connection. lol
~00:14:50 - Jimin thinks Hobi's unstable face is hilarious. I assume he had to have made a face or something, but he's off camera, so we don't get to see it. Tae thinks it's hilarious that Chim finds it so hilarious, and I also think he gets a glimpse at whatever Hobi was doing lmao Even so, he was enjoying watching Jimin laugh so much that it took a full three seconds before he looked at Hobi. Then of course has to look back at Jimin lying on the floor (still laughing, as we see when he comes back up). Talk about smitten. lol
~00:15:10 - Jimin comes back up, still laughing. With Hobi's face right against the screen, we have Jimin and Tae laughing in the background. Tae tells us that Chim's almost crying lol
~00:16:55 - Intense staring between Hobi and Chim. Tae glances at Hobi before he starts laughing, making the other two laugh lol They don't get what's so funny, but they're cute anyway. The laughing continues for a good while, but unfortunately I can't understand what's so funny :( So oof...nothing much to say about it. But then they're joking about the names of Korean foods in English, and continue laughing lol

~00:20:40 - There seems to be some more Vmin telepathy here. Like Tae could feel Chim's gaze on him. I suppose it's possible he could see Jimin staring at him from his peripheral, but eh. I dunno. It seemed more like he just felt the stare lol

And silly little analysis because I wanna be funny sometimes, but obviously admit when things are clearly taken out of context like this.)

And then maybe it looks like Tae holds back a smile if you wanna see it (if you're looking for v/hope is what I'm saying).
~00:21:30 - While Jimin was up reading the comments, he says that the Armies keep asking the boys to marry them. Tae then asks the Armies if they want to marry them. Chim looks back at Tae, and Hobi looks at Chim. After looking at Chim, he then looks at Tae. We don't get to see Jimin's expression here, but let's play a little lol. Maybe Jimin thought Tae asked in a cool/smooth way, so he looked back at him. Or maybe he didn't want Tae to say that, and his look back was a warning for Tae to watch it. They do have to be careful a little bit about what they say, after all. Maybe one of them is getting married? (or is married?) or maybe they got married? since they're in vegas lmfao (takes the opportunity to drop this golden vmin fic in here for you guys) uwu lol okno. I can't say that. Back to the friendship thing, they seem surprised that Army will pretty much support them no matter what. I mean. Come on. Of course we will. We're like family lmao

I've listened to BTS from the beginning, and I considered myself a fan since I was watching all of their content. However, I don't claim the fanbase name until I actually participate with other fans, and it was 2015 (or the HYYH era) in which I really solidified my identity as an Army.
~00:31:35 - They talk about Jimin's OST. They admit that they've already gotten to hear it, which is a privilege of them being part of the same group. And friends. But anywho. Let's talk about Jimin wanting to try new things and branching off and doing his own thing. He's always been the sort that says he want to collaborate "with his members" before doing anything with other people, and I have a lot of respect for him for caring about his members so much. That being said, I really am so happy to see him building his confidence and working on projects like this. His first song to be released on an official album was Friends. It took him seven years to create a song for an official album, but he did it. I can't express enough how happy it makes me to see him creating things, and I look forward to what we might be getting from him in the future.

Tae is on Weverse at the moment, so most of this time is actually Hobi and Jimin interacting with each other, with Tae quietly leaning into Jimin and surfing Weverse.

I was about to give up hope of this happening lmao I'm assuming they're not hanging out with the door open because you can hear the door being unlocked. So does Kook just have a key to Hobi's room? They don't make 7+ copies of hotel room keys (because that would not be very secure, two is usually the limit), so I doubt that the members just have keys to each other's rooms. Yet. Kook seems to have a copy of Hobi's room key. Or the door was unlocked...but I'm not even sure if that would be possible. I've never tried to unlock a hotel room door before (to where no card key is needed to enter).

Kook has an overdramatic reaction to it. I imagine they probably had a deal to "keep each other" to some kind of plan, and Jimin betrayed him. lol But it's whatever and they shake over it.
~01:05:00 - Hobi moves off the couch to let Kookie sit. Is he moving to let Kookie have a seat on the couch instead of forcing him to sit on the floor after his workout? I didn't say anything. *coughs*but that's what I was getting at with the hotel key anyway*coughs* What? Hobi's probably just being a sweetie and letting Kook sit on the couch since he was just working out before that. Hobi is a sweet boyfriend like that.

Anyway. I've not got time for a few more time stamps because I really do need to go to sleep and I need to wrap this up. There's a few more cute moments in here. You've got Kook wanting to go take a shower, and Tae tries to leave, too. Kook insists that he stays and finishes the live with them since he started it with them, and Kook actually ends up staying to the end, too.
Overall, this was a very entertaining live. I'm disappointed that Kook wasn't a part of it until approximately the last 10 minutes, but oof. It was so good to seem them just interacting and talking and telling stories. And doing the little quiz thing that I didn't time stamp in here, but it happens when Hobi and Jimin are in their own little world together with Tae looking through Weverse.
