Currently, not to be so dramatic, but I am tearing up. I am a 37 year old woman who has just Googled ‘Bisexual Community in Atlanta.’ I Googled this because I feel so alone and ostracized and it is very difficult to be strong all the time…I am saddened by the walls of judgment everywhere I turned and my experiencing bi-phobia over and over is breaking me down. I want to just retreat into myself. If there is a community of progressive, supportive PEOPLE…not just LGBT community? Please embrace me. I am very tired for being born this way…yet my bisexuality is one of the most beautiful things I love about myself…I seek acceptance from the outside world and I am reaching out, but until then I really don’t feel safe, as strong as I am.”
