“You look very familiar.” He couldn’t place the face, but there was something about it that had Alistair on alert. Part of him wanted to call this in, though his curiosity overrode that urge. If this wasn’t an Evo, why waste resources. It was far better to make sure his facts and gut were straight before getting a team over here.

“Do I know you from somewhere? Television, maybe?” That was a long shot, but where else would he look familiar from? The man wasn’t one of his agents or a recruit, of that he was certain.

Henry, Sorry I took off so quickly the other day... It's a lot of information to process. As much as there's a part of me that wants to forget that conversation ever happened, I don't want to be that person. This is probably as weird for you as it is for me, so I want to meet. There's a coffee shop on the corner of this street. If you want to talk, I'll be there tomorrow from about 4pm onwards. I hope I'll see you there.

Incognito || Henry & Thereze || V7 W3 || Saturday Morning

Thereze waited a few days after receiving the notice from Continuance before acting. She didn’t want to seem overeager at all to be working in this city again, despite the fact that she very much was. She liked this city, not places like Moscow. 

The shop on the outside looked the same as it had in the photograph she had been given, not surprisingly. Thereze had dressed more casual, and adopted an easy semi-smile when she walked in. All the plan for today was to talk to this Henry Escott, feel him out. Hopefully find a trigger to lure him into Continuance with, so that absolute force could be ruled out.

There was no one in the immediately vicinity when she walked in and did a cursory look around. She was going to call out if he was in the back, until her gaze caught sight on a Jian sword on display by one of the large windows. Thereze walked over to inspect it closer, picking it up as she looked at the subtly carved hilt. Smiling genuinely, she almost did not hear the steps of a man approaching.
