Every year, usually between May and the end of September, Creoula runs cruises with varying lengths and itineraries, and can occupy a weekend or a few days of sailing. During boarding, the young instructors are fully integrated into the life of the boat, experiencing everything from the tasks of a professional sailor - hoisting sails, lightening the cloth, navigating, rudder, lookout - to working in the engine room and kitchen Not forgetting the shipment of the ship and the daily cleaning. Institutions wishing to travel to Creoula should address their request to the Ministry of National Defense by November 15 of the year prior to the intended year for boarding, where they must set out the objectives of the trip and the desired period and ports to visit. The Creoula is a lugre of four masts. Built in early 1937 on the CUF shipyards for the General Fisheries Partnership, the vessel was launched into the water on May 10 and carried out its first fishing campaign in that year. A number to be retained is the fact that the ship was built in record time of 62 working days. The forward-facing, particularly the bowwheel, had been strengthened since the ship would sail in the icy seas of Newfoundland and Greenland. In 1979 Creoula was acquired by purchase from the General Fisheries Partnership by the Secretary of State for Fisheries, with the support of the Secretary of State for Culture, in order to establish a fishing museum. At the time of the first survey, the hull was found to be in very good condition and it was decided that the vessel would continue to sail and be transformed into a Marine Training Ship (NTM) to support the training of fishermen and To enable young people to live with the sea.... http://www.marinha.pt/pt-pt/servicos/ntm-creoula/Paginas/NTM-Creoula.aspx #ntmcreoula #creoula #boatlife #boattrip #navy⚓ #shipping #ship #lovelyboat #liveboat #photooftheday #picoftheday #followforfollow #instagood #sailing #sail (em Atlantic Ocean)
