This program allowed for students at West High School to work with mentors at setting goals, job hunting, college prep, homework help, guidance workshops and giving overall advice and direction to students when they needed someone to talk to. I have personally seen a huge improvement with my mentee as well as others and we need to grow the program instead of cutting it.
