It took 48 hours to complete and both my husband and I collaborated on it. Her tree from Maui sits against a sky, on the edge of a cliff, where a waterfall three feet in length falls. This represents not knowing what's at the edge of the cliff, but assuming it's beautiful, and falling over it. A lot like your daughters live list, not knowing what happens and not caring, because she has all of you to catch her fall, and to make it beautiful all the way down. When it was done, we hugged each other, in great appreciation our children don't have to be faced with these decisions on how to live, or how to end life, and what's best. To live with quality and knowing it will reduce her home on earth over having procedures done that extend her life but ruin the quality of it, was the bravest decision, one you let her make. You allowed her to take control of how her life continues. Warriors, you are... We are so honored to paint for you.
