I haven't been actively using tumblr for a while and I haven't watched any httyd stuff in such a long time, but since you're back online and I'm starting to use tumblr again and I spontaneously watched both httyd movies today, I've decided to do a full httyd franchise marathon and I AM SO HYPED :D I haven't watched the new tv season yet either, and I'm looking forward to that!!! :)

also quick question about your ocs: in the latest comic you posted on instagram, I think sev speaks in xenian (btw I love the xenian symbols/alphabet). did kaspar program him to do that? and did kaspar ever try to teach xenian to rilla too? thanks <3 (I had a lot of fun looking through your art and photos on instagram!!! :D )
it’s because he was made to be a customer service robot, and was therefore programmed to speak a lot of different languages. xenian was still in the language archive from before the genocide and no one ever felt the need to remove it, so it went into his programming.
none of them knew sev could speak xenian before that moment so they were all surprised (sev and kaspar only realized after they stopped arguing).
rilla has tried to get kaspar to teach it to her, but he’s not the best teacher and she’s not a very attentive student, so they didn’t get very far lol.

they're both animal lovers so it's kind of a mutual thing. they have toothless and angus, though, so they try to keep their pets limited to them

whoever sees the bug first. they're pretty chill about it, but sometimes hiccup's like, "ugh a fly got in the house again" and merida's like, "OH I GOT IT I GOT IT." they probably compete to see who can kill flies the fastest (merida holds the record)
Cooks the meals
neither of them are good cooks, but merida is particularly bad so it's usually hiccup. merida tries really hard though, on special occasions. she's stayed up all night trying to bake hiccup a cake and his favorite meal for his birthday
Starts getting into holidays way before they should
honestly, i think they'd be on even ground here too. they make an occasion out of christmas decorating together, not too early or too late
Initiates the couple selfies
merida. all the time.
Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries
hiccup is more prone to forgetting. merida doesn't get too upset about it (usually, depends on the severity). she'll sock him in the arm and tell him to stop thinking so hard about work or school, since he has a tendency to get way too absorbed in his projects
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping
merida. hiccup doesn't mind, but they have quite the stock of cookies in their pantry
Nicknames the other
merida calls hiccup the most ridiculous names. he always pretends to be annoyed by it, but secretly finds it very endearing
