I am not the summer sun, beaming strongly and effortfessly. I am the last fighting beams of autumn equinox. Desperately forcing my way through dying leaves and sleeping trees to melt the frost you live under. Either way, please don't get too close.

I had an absolute blast last night seeing @frankturner @luceromusic @themenzingers and @thgchoir at the Aragon Ballroom last night. Frank Turner has been a huge influence in my life for years and years, and it was transcendent seeing him and the other play less than 100 feet from me. I worked 11 hours at ITI, went to a viewing for my dream apartment, worked a three hour shift at the cafe, then drove 15 miles home in a thunderstorm. My feet hurt, I'm exhausted, I'm breaking out, it's still hot as shit in my bedroom - but guess what. I'm laying the foundation to my mothafuckin' LIFE, BABY. Time for Prozac and five hours of sleep before I do it all over again.

I cannot stop thinking about the long and winding road in front of me. The people in my life today, and the determination to evolve beyond what my life used to be, have given me this new chance at life. I have worked so hard and will continue to work even harder to buy my house. To get my stability. To absolutely own my job. To learn new skills. To try new things. To live with love and strength. To uplift the people I meet. To respect every life. To accept every moment as this perfect moment. I will exceed all expectations, I will overcome my obstacles, I will conquer my fears.
