LEAGUE CUP BURTON 0-5 LIVERPOOL

Klopp put out a strong team to right the wrongs of last Saturdays result and it paid off with the lads giving a strong performance, goals from Origi, Firmino, Naylor (og) and to finish two goals from our main man Sturridge. The man of the match by far was Sadio Mane who kept going to the final whistle. Great win and so looking forward to Saturday’s game against Spurs. YNWA

Arsenal 3v4 Liverpool review

Wow what a game from start to finish Liverpool showed clear class up front with goals from Coutinho (2) Lallana and Mane but as usual our defence is the main talking point letting in 3 and mistakes by Moreno at left back been clear to see. In all we got the 3 points and move on to our next game against Burnley where we should get another win. YNWA

Honestly I just love this team so much and nothing will ever change that. While they didn’t win any trophies this year you don’t watch soccer for the trophies, you watch it for the passion, the determination, and most of all for the love of the game. Those are all traits that Liverpool’s exemplified for as long as I’ve been following them. It sucks that they didn’t win don't get me wrong but even when it seemed that all was lost this team never gave up. Watching these players sprint up the field in the 90th minute in search of a miraculous comeback demonstrated everything I love about them. 

Watching Kolo lead the defense and Studge score an absolute wonder goal left me feeling proud of the team we’ve got. While it sucks that the referees became part of the narrative Sevilla straight up outplayed Liverpool in the second half. They were playing like worldbeaters and there are few teams I would say could have outplayed them at that point. 

Looking forward is what the fans need to do in times like these, we have a great squad with some great players coming in. Kloppo’s a great manager and when he has an entire preseason with the squad and a full transfer window to bring in the players he needs I know he’ll do great things.
