SPURS 1 LIVERPOOL 1

Last game for two weeks because of the international break ends in a 1 all draw. Liverpool had must of the first half when they took a early lead with a John Milner penalty after Firmino was brought down. Liverpool to break Spurs down for a second which allowed Danny Rose to draw things level. In the end dispointing game but a point at Spurs wasn’t that bad hope goes to our first home game of season when Leicester are the visitors on 10th sept. YNWA

LEAGUE CUP BURTON 0-5 LIVERPOOL

Klopp put out a strong team to right the wrongs of last Saturdays result and it paid off with the lads giving a strong performance, goals from Origi, Firmino, Naylor (og) and to finish two goals from our main man Sturridge. The man of the match by far was Sadio Mane who kept going to the final whistle. Great win and so looking forward to Saturday’s game against Spurs. YNWA

BURNLEY 2-0 LIVERPOOL

Ok were do I start a part from we looked out of sorts the whole game, the defence was a mess and way to many mistakes made. There was no real plus points in this game so not much to talk about. Poor poor game hope we can get it right for tonight’s visit to Burton in the league cup. YNWA

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET MOVIE REVIEW PART 2 : FREDDY’S REVENGE

After the success of a Nightmare on Elm Street New line went a head with part 2 without Wes Craven who wanted the movie to be a stand alone. Robert Shaye saw Freddy as a real money spinner and found Jack Sholder to direct from 1986 sequel which would see a new twist to the dream stalker. With a new director a new cast was found and a new scream Queen after Heather Langenkamp wasn’t asked to revisit her role as Nancy Thompson, Mark Patton was ask to play Jesse Walsh who moved into Nancy old house on Elm Street which his dreams would offer Freddy a change to become alive again using Jesse’s body. The movie itself became known as the gay nightmare movie after a string in movie jokes from the director including the line “you’ve a chance with a girl but you would rather spent the night with me” Grady said to Jesse in Grady’s bedroom ( or words to that affect). As usual the movie leads to a strong female character saving the day and coming to the aid of Jesse Walsh her boyfriend of sorts when she confronts Freddy in a old factory boiler room in which Freddy would take the kids. The finale ends with Lisa taking on Freddy and trying to free Jesse from Freddy’s grap and love finds away of winning. This is not a great movie and as many things wrong with the storyline but it was bald in changing things from the original movie but just went to far and changed to much which made no sense. My marks are 4/10

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET REVIEW PART 1 This is my first review on the popluar franchise a nightmare on elm street which started with Wes Craven as director. 1984 was the year the big screen first met Freddy Krueger and his now famous weapon glove of knives which he used to kill the kids of elm street. Freddy played by Robert Englund became a horror icon due to the success of this movie and made way for many more Nightmare movies. I first saw this film when I was 13 and I was truely scared and unable to sleep without seeing Freddy, this was my first horror film lol. The basic plot to the movie is a bunch of kids are being stalked in there dreams by Freddy who after them to get revenge on there parents who burnt him alive. One by one Freddy picks off the teenager’s one bloody death after another until he gets to Nancy who as managed to get away from him. The movie is scary from start to finish and is one of the best slasher flicks out there. My score for this is 9/10

Arsenal 3v4 Liverpool review

Wow what a game from start to finish Liverpool showed clear class up front with goals from Coutinho (2) Lallana and Mane but as usual our defence is the main talking point letting in 3 and mistakes by Moreno at left back been clear to see. In all we got the 3 points and move on to our next game against Burnley where we should get another win. YNWA

Finally saw suicide squad last night and this is what I thought…. Entertaining from start to finish great casting really like Will Smith and Margot Robbie roles as Deadshot and Harley Quinn infact they stole the show. The film needed more Joker scenes or maybe would have been better if he hadnt been in it at all as it’s mostly flashbacks of Harley Quinn’s back story. I think in all Dc are trying hard as they can to catch up to Marvel and the film story telling falls a bit flat near the end. Will watch this again and I will be interested if the Batman v Joker gets made but it as to have Harley Quinn in it. My score 7/10

Liverpool fc season preview

The new season is nearly here and with new faces arriving and old one parting ways there’s exciting times once again at Anfield and the world famous football club. This my look ahead to the 2016- 2017 season and as usual hopes are high with Klopp in charge for his first full season, after last season’s two cup finals we move forward in our Chase for the title. Our summer signings have already started to find their feet in the pre-season games which showed great results against A.c.Milan and Barcelona. 1) Sadio Mane is our big money signing for this season and already looks good as part of our front three. 2) Wijndlum (not sure if thats a correct spelling) as come in from Newcastle to add fire power to our midfield 3) Louis Karius German under 21 goalkeeper will challenge Mignolet for the number one spot after a bright pre-season 4/5) Matip and Klavan two strong defenders brought in to help out our back line 6) Marko Grujic signed in January was loaned back but now as a chance to shine and reminds me of Luis Garcia. Ok now to the few players that are no longer needed and to say goodbye to Martin Skrtel, Jordon Ibe and Joe Allen you guys will always be apart of the Liverpool family. Others players have always left but we are waiting on the pending departures of Balotelli and Benteke who Klopp doesn’t see a future with, clubs have yet to show real interest in the pair. My prediction for the season is that we finish in the top four I hope in first spot but this season all the big clubs have world class managers so Klopp and Liverpool face a tough challenge a head but with Leicester winning last season anything can happen. I will review Liverpool matches throughout the season so if you want to see more please follow. YNWA
