We did it boys, I get to infodump about Spot, York, and Hotshot’s friendship

Also I was originally already working on Brooklyn newsie headcanons so,,, I’m just gonna use about like half of those

▻ Starting right away with something I’m pretty sure I try to force into any and all of my posts about the Brooklyn newsies but 👏🏻 Hotshot 👏🏻 York 👏🏻 and 👏🏻 Spot 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 best 👏🏻 friends

▻ Hotshot and Spot have known eachother since they were about 12 and shortly after they met they also met York

▻ They got super close overtime and bonded over their severe trouble opening up to people

▻ Hotshot and Spot are the closer of the three

▻ Hotshot and Spot have that kind of relationship where Hotshot would just walk up to Spot out of the blue and be like “bitch” and Spot would be like “that’s fair.”

▻ York could also probably do that but he is more prone to getting hit on the back of the head by Spot as a response

▻ York and Spot have that kinda bro relationship with constantly hyping each other up, y’know (I don’t know how normal people act)

▻ Spot, York, and Hotshot all three give me such big dumbass one, dumbass two, and slightly less but still dumbass three vibes

▻ Spot and York will be doing dumb shit and Hotshot will be like “I should stop them.” and then not do anything

▻ On a more clam note, the three of them will sit on the stairwell steps, up to where the newsies sleep in the Brooklyn lodging house, in the middle of the night and just talk

▻ Occasionally one of them (99% of the time York) will just fall asleep in which the other two will say fuck it and also fall asleep on the steps

▻ This results in Myron shaking them awake in the morning

▻ Spot then complains about his back hurting for the rest of the day in which Myron has to remind him that he was the one who decided to sleep on the stone steps
