Hi, love your blog! I have quite long stright hair, not too thick, but not very thin either, and I really want curly hair. Is a perm a good option? I don't want something that looks like I'm right out of the 80's, so can a perm achieve loose curls?
yes, when you go into the salon ask them for a body wave and to use fairly large rods. tell them you want beach waves, not a tight curl. i've had one done on my hair and i really miss it! i would get out of the shower, apply a curl creme and boom! i was done. it was low maintenance and made my hair look styled naturally.
