Title: An incredibly awkward date

Pairing: Jude/Alvin, Aruju (that’s the name right?)

Rating: PG

Words:  740

Summery: Alvin asked Jude on a date however Jude didn’t think he meant romantically 

Note: .I honestly had no idea what I was doing but I went for a canon verse awkward date so I hope that’s fine with you (I prefer canon over AUs) I am  not very accustomed with this pairing so my apologies if it is awkward and or weird

Jude doesn’t know how to react when Alvin suddenly asks him on a ‘date’ he didn’t object to the idea however he’s surprised by the er… Nature he is asked in.

“Alvin you don’t seem very trustworthy avoiding my eyes like that.”

“I’m avoiding your eyes because it’s embarrassing!”

Jude gives Alvin a disbelieving look. “Considering how shameless you usually are this is kinda…weird.”

No longer flustered Alvin looks to Jude and makes an offended gasp. Jude nearly rolls his eyes from the obvious fakeness. “What 'shameless?’ I am the definition of gentleman.”

Jude can’t stop his laugh after that retort. “Yeah right. Anyway you wanted to go on a date right? Let’s go.”

Alvin lets out a defeated sigh and drops his shoulders. “You make it sound like nothing.”

Jude tilts his head. He honestly doesn’t know why the older man is making such a big deal out of it; it wasn’t like they hadn’t already eaten out many times before.

The walk there is mostly normal except the fact that Alvin for some reason refuses to look at him. Jude considers calling him out on it but it isn’t like he’s particularly starving for Alvin’s attention so he doesn’t bother.

However once there Jude’s patience are just about worn when Alvin stares at him for ten seconds, blushes, then quickly looks away.

“Alvin, seriously, what is wrong with you?”

Reluctantly Alvin looks back at him. “We’re on a date Jude.”

“I know that but why are you- oh!?”

Oh…

Jude realizes it and suddenly his face feels hot and he really doesn’t want to look at Alvin either.

Jude covers his face, “Oh my god…” He moans. He’s embarrassed and he kinda doesn’t want to be there anymore. He wants to go home curl up on his bed and pretend this never happened.

He peeks through his fingers and sees Alvin grinning.

This bastard!

“Why are you grinning?”

“You being embarrassed makes me feel better”

Jude groans. He wants to punch him really hard at the moment. “Yes because the guy who was so vague his date didn’t know they were going on a romantic date is so amazing.”

Alvin makes a sound as if he was actually punched. “Cold Jude.” Jude ignores him, and Alvin says more. Sounding more serious. “But Jude you seriously didn’t suspect that I was asking you on a real date.”

“Considering how much you tease me I don’t see why I should trust anything you say.”

“Ouch a bit far don’t you think?”

Jude crosses his arms. “No not far enough if you ask me.”

Alvin sighs then stands up. “I’ll go then.”

Jude reaches out and grabs Alvin’s wrist. He really thinks I’m mad? “Alvin sit back down.” Jude stares at him until he eventually sits back down and Jude smiles when he does.

“You… Want me stay?”

Jude groans. “Of course. I never said I didn’t want to date you.”

“Wait so you mean.”

Jude blushes and looks away. Ah this is embarrassing. Jude seriously wants to run away but- “I mean lets finish this date…”

Alvin hesitates. “Romantically?” He tests. Hoping that’s what he meant, and not just finish eating and then pretend nothing ever happened.

“Yes romantically,” Jude mumbles. Too flustered to speak loudly..

Of course even though they agreed to that all that followed was them eating and awkwardly glancing at each other while making irrelevant small talk.

Once they finish eating they decide to leave and part ways to try and think on what happened, but before hand they talk before saying their goodbyes to each other

“So see you around?” Alvin guesses.

Stop being so awkward!

“Uh… yeah I guess.” Jude answers.

Alvin starts to walk away. This is terrible. Jude doesn’t want to let him walk away. He wants to stop him for some reason.

Before he can think on it anymore he’s already carrying himself towards Alvin’s direction and reaching out and grabbing his arm pulling him down to place a quick peck on Alvin’s cheek.

Alvin looks at Jude and blinks.

“Uh…” Jude glances side to side before finally clinching his fist and running away while shouting “S-See you tomorrow!”

Alvin scratches cheek while watching Jude run off.

“This all started as a disaster, but I guess it turned out okay in the end.” He shrugs his shoulders then keeps on his way home with a satisfied grin on his face

When you return to Nia Khera after Jude decides to go with Milla (and meet back up w/ Alvin to pay him), Alvin looks disappointed that Jude has decided to go with Milla. Why do you think this is?

BECAUSE HE’S JEALOUS TRASH

serious answer: there’s also the fact that he has to kill milla and he REALLY doesn’t want to kill jude too, i think he wants jude to get as far away from milla as possible so that he doesn’t get hurt. the last thing he wants is to involve jude.

oh my god you didn’t know?? there’s an affection system and depending on who has the most affection there are different scenes throughout the game and then a last final scene with lloyd’s “soulmate”

another big thing is that you cannot keep both kratos and zelos
