"Come to see my handiwork for yourself?" Rebekah smiles proudly, nodding her head to the tinsel and lights that seemed to hang along every surface. "Be careful where you step, I put mistletoe in nearly every corner"

This would be her first real trip to the school. Of course, Bonnie knew the details. She had kept in close contact with her friends over the years of travelling the world. But this was the first time she actually was laying eyes on it.
It was strange and familiar. There were parts that still felt like the old boarding house but she could feel the change in the air as well (not to mention the power; many witches under one roof would do that to a place).
She walked further inside and saw a face that she knew. Kind of. She had seen pictures of course. Talked to Elena and Damon about their girl but she had never really had a chance to get to know the newest Salvatore. She wondered what Stefanie had been told of her.
“ ---- hi,” she said, feeling nervous all of a sudden. “You might not know me, or maybe you have heard of me. I’m Bonnie.”

It was her job to know each and every student at the school. Maybe not all their details but at least recognize their face and know enough about them to know who might benefit from having someone to talk to. Stefanie Salvatore fit the bill. She had been given a brief overview but had yet to speak with her. When she saw Stefanie alone in the library, she thought she might as well make the first step. “ --- I have to say, you’re lucky. When I come in here most days I can’t even find a seat. Tell me your secret.”

Meredith stood at the doorway of the school, feeling wholly out of place. She should turn around and go home (although home was rather relative at the moment now wasn’t it?).
Still, she was curious enough to open the front door and step in. For a few moments she simply wandered, not really thinking about the fact that she was a stranger to everyone but one in the building.
When she turned the corner and finally ran into someone else, she stopped short. “--- oh,” Meredith smiled. “I’m looking for an old friend of mine. Alaric Saltzman. Is he around?”
