When is Liz going to question why Red puts her life above his?
We always talk about Red and how much he loves Liz, and what lengths he would go to for her. But we don’t really look at Liz’s understanding of it. What is very interesting is that Liz doesn’t question it. On so many occasions, he protected her, exchanged his life for hers; but she doesn’t ask him his reasons anymore? Why? Because she knows his feelings for her. A friend, no matter how close, would not do that for her. And she certainly doesn’t behave like a friend with him in season 4. She doesn’t question him again, on him being a potential dad, as she found out that Kirk isn’t and tells her Red had an affair with Katerina. Why? Because she knows a dad would never behave this way towards his daughter. And I still believe something happen between them when they were on the run. If a man was doing for me, what Red does for Lizzie, I would conclude he is in love with me, no doubt about it.
Fun fact: if you ever wanna see me back on here, just lure me back with attractive men. It's a sure fire way to do it, because I am weak and I am trash.
