Movieland Magazine, October 1947
Lizabeth Scott was an American actress and singer known for her smoky voice and for becoming one of the defining femme fatales of 1940s–50s film noir. She rose to prominence in Hollywood after stage work and appeared in 22 films, becoming closely associated with dark, morally tangled roles. Her two best and most iconic movies are The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (1946) and Too Late for Tears (1949).
