So @lizardkeys tagged me on Deviantart to do 8 facts about my character Vira Sondra from ‘Outcast Hero’. I don’t really use DA these days, so I thought I’d post it here:
1. Vira is a singer/songwriter and musician who plays an instrument resembling an electronic lyre harp.
2. She is the eldest of three children, with two younger brothers - Connor and Nathan. Despite their near polar opposite personalities, Vira gets on more with Connor than Nathan.
3. Vira’s parents run a farm, and as a result, Vira herself knows a lot about agriculture and animal care.
4. Vira can come across as a quite serious person, but is not devoid of humour, though it is a little dry. She is patient with most things, but has no time for egotistic behaviour.
5. Vira isn’t afraid to speak her mind, or do what needs to be done. However, she doesn’t tend to jump into situations without analysing them first. Neither is she quick to make judgements.
6. The earliest version of Vira was going to be Muxlowe’s (the protagonist of Outcast Hero) sister. This was quickly scrapped as Vira needed to be totally unaware of Muxlowe’s past.
7. Vira is the only character from the main cast (of Muxlowe, Adrian, Marlon and Vira) who was not inspired by a character from Outcast Hero’s previous incarnation.
8. Vira’s name is, however, a variant of one of my grandmothers’ names [Vera].
