LIZBETH CANTRELL is a HALF-BLOOD in GRYFFINDOR and she is in her FIFTH YEAR at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is portrayed by LANA CONDOR and is TAKEN.
Born and raised in the countryside, Lizzie always had plenty of space to run around in. Between her and her brother Iz—a nickname only she can call him—their wizard father and muggle mother never had to worry about them being bored. Together they could enact any plan they came up with, no challenge too great for them. They grew up knowing of magic and while they weren’t really close with the magical side of the family, they did enjoy seeing their cousins on occasion. Tragedy, however, struck the tight knit family in her second year when their mother died. The cord that kept the family together snapped and no longer were they whole. Her father moved the family closer to where the magical side of their family lived, no longer with muggles nearby.
Since the death of her mother Lizzie became the bane of her father’s will. She starting lashing out and showing no respect for authority figures who try and force her into things she doesn’t want to do. She barely gets by with her grades and doesn’t care enough to do more than just pass a course. She doesn’t want anything to do with the pureblood life that her father once was a part of and has forced her and her brother back into. With nowhere else to go, Lizzie feels trapped at Hogwarts but knows it’s better than being around her father. Using her aggression well, Lizzie has taken to playing Quidditch and is a valuable member of the team. When she manages to respect the captain of course. With her preference for all things muggle, Lizzie is completely against the Arcanists and is damn well proud of it.
