See I’m wondering that too. Because they brought up in the original post about having shoes for guests and I’m like who has money?? for other shoes?? in various sizes?? for guests??
And at the same time it’s been noted that lower incomes tend to be more giving and forgiving when it comes to their guests. So maybe. That would be something interesting to do a legitimate study on.
I have also noticed that lower income families have started to act more like the structure of foreign families. Like the idea of children living with their families for longer periods of time which is something good in non-american cultures and has started to become kind of accepted (based on just economy) now? All very interesting tbh.
