First off, I’d like to apologize for this über late note. My little bro is a butt and laptop snatches all too often... BUT ON TO THE REAL NOTE. 

I’ll start by saying that I’m really grateful for that really pointless year-long class ‘cuz without it I wouldn’t have met you and stalked your Tumblr from a far for, like, two months?? We first really started talking in October, specifically Halloween, I believe, when one of my friends dressed as Carlos and we fangirled over Welcome to Night Vale. 

I had finally found someone to talk “seriously” about fandoms and nerd junk with, and it was totally great. It made me feel less lonely, and you’re really easy to talk to, so I felt more at ease being my awkward weeb-ish self (kinda how I am with my super close friends from high school). I really enjoy laughing at dumb things with you!

Not only are you a FANtastic nerd buddy (ahaha puns), but you have a very grounded and well formulated points of view on a variety of different subjects. I like listening to your explanations/opinions ‘cuz they’re always very solid and just make sense. I only wish that I had the time to converse with you on more serious subjects, but nowadays it’s kinda difficult (with brothers snatching laptops ‘n all). But I’m just really glad that we still keep in touch and watch anime movies together!!!

My friend, you deserve so much more love than what you have now, and I sincerely mean that from the bottom of my heart. I honestly wish I could do more to make things easier for you ‘cuz you definitely have the potential to do great things, even if you don’t think so. But distance makes things hard, so the only thing I can offer you is an ear to listen to your troubles, some kind words to help ease your worries and all the love one person can express through the Internet. 

I’ve always thought of you as a friend, full of passion, hope and courage. You are extremely brave, and I sincerely mean that, ‘cuz I can’t even imagine how tough it’s been for you or even what kind of hardships you’ve had to face. But, being able to keep on living despite all that... that’s just amazing. I can’t even tell you how proud I feel, and how glad I am that you still have the opportunity to laugh and smile and have fun. You just need to reach out and grab it. You have to take that step, even if it’s a small step, even if you end up falling back again. You’re still here and I’ll be here with you. I’ll help you as much as I can ‘cuz I know you have the ability to get back up again and to move forward. Just don’t give up. 

Let’s continue talking about the bike boys together and how perfectly gay they all are. Let’s create headcanons together about all these dumb boys (especially Arakita) and cry our ultimate weeb tears ‘cuz of the excess amount of feels we have bottled up inside. Let’s fangirl over Oofuri and how freakin’ cute Mihashi is and just... all this gay. So much gay. LET’S GAYLY TALK ABOUT GAYS FOR DAYS. THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WE’LL DO. JUST ME AND YOU. //hearts

Oh man, where do I even start... 

It hasn’t even been a full year since I’ve met you, but I still feel like we’ve been friends for ages! I probably got the greatest present for christmas last year, ‘cuz not only did I get an awesomely amazing fanfic from you, but I got a SUPER-DUPER WONDERFULLY AMAZING EXTRA SPECIAL PRECIOUS PAL as well. That’s right, it’s you, my dearest lovely~! And I completely agree with you that we have to thank those who organized the OP Secret Santa event, ‘cuz I never would have imagined that I’d be given such a precious gift. 

You are a really great friend. And even though we’ve spoken to each other for all of 8 months, you’ve actually helped me through quite a bit during a few stressful times. I’m very grateful for your constant positivity and support, and always reminding me to love myself and to never doubt my abilities. You have this calming effect on me, brushing aside the negativity I tend to surround myself in (even if my stubbornness only allows for a little bit to be removed). Thank you so much for that.  

I also love how, by some magical coincidence, we ended up watching Monster at around the same time, so that we can now share our sad nerdy feels about all these poor tragic characters, ESPECIALLY TENMA. WE NEED TO PROTECT TENMA, OUR ONLY RAY OF HOPE IN THE CHAOS CREATED BY JOHAN. I’m so glad that I can be open with you about all these damn feelings, with both this and all the sports anime we’re watching together. It’s so great, and I love watching things with you. It’d be even better if we could watch stuff in person and each junk and flail around like butterflies that had too many coffees. That’d be the best. (Hopefully, we won’t knock anything over if that does happen.)

I really, really wanna hug you for reals, though, and ‘cuz words don’t seem to express just how much I love you and how uberly special you are. So just take this jumbled mess of words and feelings and compliments, ‘cuz you so very much deserve all of them. Please keep them, even if it’s difficult. Keep them until I can give you the biggest bestest bear hug my noodle arms can muster.

Okay, first of all, how dare you pick my favourite number. That is my number and I am offended. Are you trying to get back at me for quoting your Ouran fanfic on the live Internet? Huh? HUH???!?!?! You loser. Just keep hanging on to those impossible dreams. Just keep doing that. Or whatever. 

All silliness aside, I actually really love you and I’m so happy and extremely grateful that you exist in my little part of the universe. I’m also really thankful for how obnoxiously you stand out ‘cuz I probably wouldn’t have noticed very much of you otherwise, and there wouldn’t have been a reason for me to gravitate toward you or secretly/not-so-secretly want to be your friend. If that makes any sense at all... It’s hard to explain but, I guess what I wanna say is that I’m happy that everything happened the way it did. So very, very happy. 

Ah, I’m already getting nostalgic. You always seem to make me do that, make me think of all those great times that seem so far away now. I never want to let those go, and I know you don’t either (which is way you always keep on bringing back those “old” stories). But, ya know we have plenty of time to make more stories, right? An endless amount of stories. Enough stories to beat One Piece, Homestuck and Harry Potter combined. This is our goal. Then when we’re all old nonnas we can tell each other all our dumb stories over and over, still laughing like the idiots we are now. 

I seriously can’t tell you how much I adore and admire and respect you. Hell, I’d trust you with anything, ‘cuz I know you’ll pull through and you’re not afraid to stand up for what you think is right. You’re stubborn and headstrong, but you can also be so gentile, caring, passionate and really fun to be around. You give me energy, and help build upon the enthusiasm of others. Like never ending sunshine ~ 

Also, you’ve helped me become more comfortable with myself, and even got me through some tough shit. I don’t know how many times I can say thank you for all that, but it certainly would never be enough. I’m really glad that you were always straight with me, and that your words are never empty or half-hearted. I’m so grateful that I have you to lean on when I need it. 

I can pretty much go on forever about how wonderful and amazing you are, but my laptop is running out of battery and I’m too lazy to get up to plug it in the outlet that is, like, a metre away. So, yeah, you get 5-6 paragraphs of mush and feelings and EVERY SINGLE LOVES AND HUGS. I HOPE TO SEE YOUR FACE SOON ! ! ! !

YOU ARE REALLY CUTE????!!!?!??!?!?? 

I dunno, man. From the moment I started following you, you’ve just been getting cuter and cuter to me, and I don’t even know how that’s even possible. 

I had just finished watching all of Azumanga Daioh and wanted a blog to follow so I could fangirl over Sakaki ‘CUZ SHE IS MY QUEEN AND I LOVE HER, and then I found your blog. Your GIFs just made my life. Bless you and every single one of your Sakaki (+cats) GIFs, ‘cuz they make me screech with joy every time I see them. (Just a head’s up, I’m probably gonna go digging for some more of those GIFs after I’m done writing this).

I listened to that audio meme thing that you did earlier AND YOU SOUND ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. LIKE A LITTLE ANIME PRINCESS OR A PRECIOUS LITTLE CHIBI CREATURE THAT CREATES RAINBOWS WITH ITS LAUGHTER AND WALKS ON CLOUDS OF PINK COTTON CANDY. I”M NOT EVEN JOKING.

I guess I’ll start off by saying that you have a really neat blog! I don’t think I’ve ever come across any other blog that does anything similar to what you’re doing, and I think that’s pretty freakin’ awesome!! I’m really impressed with the amount of dedication and effort you put into each of your posts and opinions/summaries of the manga and anime you follow. 

To me, you seem to be doing this mostly for yourself (which is the obvious point of having a blog), but it also keeps you focused and, I guess, motivated to keep on commenting on the shows you watch and manga you read. I could be totally wrong on that point, though. 

Also, I like how you get your followers involved with your “journey into anime nerdiness” by letting them suggest anime for you to watch. That’s totally awesome! Please let me know when/if you’re taking requests ‘cuz I kinda suggest a few things. 6w6 !! 

I’m really not sure what else to say since I don’t know you very well ^^;;; but if ever you wanna chat about anime (or anything, really), please don’t be shy to send me a message! ^w^
