What’s really gonna happen when they go back to earth:
They’re going to arrive, planning on going to see their families and the Holts but are detained by the government and/or the Galaxy Garrison and asked a whole bunch of questions
Allura and Coran are going to be poked and prodded and possibly held captive in which the others have to pull one massive escape plan together to save them
The gov./gar. Is going to threaten the lives of the paladin’s families if they don’t cooperate. Keith and Shiro have no family so of course they’re all like “fuck you” but Lance knows full damn well his family trumps everything
He tells them what they want to hear while attempting to keep everyone safe.
Pidge finds out that her father’s information was intercepted and being looked at so they basically came there for nothing
The others find out lance croaked and call him a traitor and he has to defend himself, he eventually gets to go home.
Hunk expresses that he has family too and decides to cooperate as well.
Hunk is let go.
So now Pidge, Keith and Shiro have to break Allura and Coran out of “jail” and go stay back at Keith’s shack until they can figure out what the hell to do next.
Lance sees his family and realizes how much he’s missed.
The others find Hunk and Lance, meet their family’s and have a heavy discussion about what took place earlier. Lance feels guilty for not trying harder to save allura and Coran but Keith shuts him down, saying that the most important thing is saving the universe with the information.
Lance distances himself from the group and has a heart-to-heart with Allura— she expresses that she would’ve done the same thing if they traded places, family was everything to her. But they’re family now, them and Hunk, Pidge, Keith, and Shiro. They’re his family too and everything they’re doing is for the lives of everyone.
Shiro has some kind of psychological damage and has trouble remembering things, Pidge and Keith work hard to help him remember.
