Storm's go-to vape flavors are blueberry ice and menthol- anything else is a hard pass

───── ⋅☆⋅ ─────
these two have suddenly become very important to me
gonna say it.
Storm is definitely 100% and undoubtedly autistic. maybe the movie itself isn’t that telling, but Storm Chasing is basically a full-on diagnosis lmao (and I’m saying this as a neurodivergent person myself)(also please read the book if you are a storm enjoyer, trust me it's great).
and honestly I feel like a lot of people are scared to admit it because they think it would somehow ruin his cool edgy mysterious vibe or whatever. which is such a lame way to look at it omfg.
that man/car is neurodivergent, cool as hell, and also a total lame jackass. all of these things can coexist.
drh but they pass storm around like a joint
headcanon time: Cal stutters a lot :3
cal weathers is a bisexual disaster and has 100% had crushes on both of his racing buddies (bobby and lightning) at some point but was completely unaware
that's it, that's the post
not falling for the Cars on the Road propaganda. Lightning wouldn’t suck at acting. he’d be good.
however, I do think he’d have performance anxiety or something like that when he’s excited about what he’s involved in. or just- when there’s pressure. which is ironic, because there’s pressure in racing too, but that's also a way for him to decompress.
he’d suck when stressing too much, not because he’d be a sucky actor. he’s done acting just fine before (yk, that overly cocky, confident persona he put up in his rookie years). it’s just that when the stakes are emotional instead of competitive- boom. nerves.
