Walking On Thin Ice | Lu Han (Nikuya Shin) + Shin Yeong
"I can only answer that last question." He said and shrugged casually. “I called out for you simply because I like you a lot.” She was surprised to hear that, so she stood there staring at him. Even as he started walking, she wasn’t able to talk. “You don’t have to reject me or say that you like me too, really. I’d rather not know. Now I’m off to my dorm. Don’t get yourself killed tonight, dollface.” This didn’t make her less speechless, so her eyes simply followed her with her mouth still standing slightly open.
As he took off, she thought she wouldn’t see him again until the next class they had together but as their arms brushed he stopped and something slid to her hand. He again told her to not get killed and to meet him after third period.
Shin Yeong sat in class, it was the third period and she was wondering if Lu Han would really show up. She somehow doubted it… would he still be talking to her now? She would’ve thought that everything was just a weird dream, but the pocket knife proved that it wasn’t. She sighed and thought back.
“I called out for you simply because I like you a lot.”
“Seriously, don’t get yourself killed.”
“And if you want my answer to your other questions, feel free to meet me at the rooftop after third period.”
This really confused her. She couldn’t really tell if she liked him, but she did found him interesting. Maybe that’s because he’s so mysterious…? She scratched the back of her head and bit her nose.
As the class was dismissed she made her way onto the rooftop. She looked around on her way up there, but Lu Han was nowhere to be found. I will have to wait up there, then. She stood there, leaning onto the wall on the rooftop which was supposedly there to prevent people to fall down. She played around with the pocket knife in her hands, not holding it still.
She felt sort of nervous, but she couldn’t tell why. After thinking about that encounter while walking around a few minutes, she thought that Lu Han had behaved really weird. And with that she didn’t even mean that he was talking, but that he had sort of a dangerous feel to him. Probably I’m just imagining things… maybe I was just tired last night and my brain saved things up wrong…
After a few minutes of waiting and looking down of the building, she started to stare at the door.
