I could imagine arden mocking the team, maybe even with a gap between them and getting knocked into next week by Coomers extendo arms or something. Is arden really that arrogant? What would he think if the science team beat him?

I can see an Arden v. Science Team going 2 ways:

1. A fight akin to Spinel vs. The Crystal Gems.

Arden’s sorta got a stretchy-rubberhose/liquid/contorted-crawler-from-a-horror-flick sorta fighting style, and he usually uses friendly fire and quick dodging n’ movement to his advantage.

He’s one to gloat but he loooves to disorient and fuck with ppl mentally, hence why shapeshifting into his opponents would also throw them off especially if there’s no time to differentiate who’s who. He’s probably prioritize one person at a time, and while being fought by the others use his target like a shield to which he’s basically done none of the fighting part himself until he gets down to his real target and then has em’ all to himself.

2. He gets to cocky and gets his ass whooped by underestimating em. Pretty much just a moment to knock him down for a sec then

And he wouldn’t take losing well. Bc, y’know, he’s lost once and that was to his brother so that would take a hit on his ego and make him have more of a vendetta not just to Ben, but the rest of the team too.

Lmao and in this case if he shapeshifting into Dr. Coomer you know Dr. Coomer himself would be the first to pummel him.

But idk which one I would find accurate, probably 1 is a first encounter and 2 is meeting him again lol

The only time Chara doesn't want to go on with the genocide route is when you get to Flowey in Asgore's throne room. While Chara does end up being the one who gets that hit on Sans and slaughters Asgore mercilessly, as you literally have no control over those events happening, Flowey won't be attacked until you press a button. Nothing happens against your own will, once Flowey gets to that last pleading line of dialogue, it's you who finishes the job, as if Chara was having second thoughts.
