Heresy spoilers (vaguely last week), thoughts on drifteris & a disclaimer lol

Closer to when my blog popped up I was asked if I shipped them. Reasonable question to some running a Drifter fanblog. I do not. I think it's worth reiterating with the sorta confirmation we got last week that I still don't. I think it could be sweet, but it's just never clicked. Maybe it will now, we'll see, but I'm not placing any bets.

In all honesty, I still want to read them as platonic, and I'm probably going to try, to whatever degree the game allows me. I think that's more a headcanon than just a different interpretation atp, but we ball. Stuff on here will probably follow as such, but I doubt it'll really matter? I just feel like warning y'all because I know there's tension rn and a good chuck of my followers ship them and I don't want it to be taken the wrong way that I don't. I have no spite about it. I just want to sit in my corner and enjoy it how I do lol.

This isn't really news. This is how I've always felt about them. I'm just not comfortable going radio silent about it to avoid going against the grain bc at the end of the day y'all can tune your own feeds if you're looking for something else. Make your space.

THAT SAID, if any of y'all take this post and run w/ it to trash on drifteris shippers you're getting blocked. My mentality absolutely goes both ways. I sit here and read it how I want to and the people who enjoy them as canon enjoy them as canon and as long as we can get along that's double the fanart and love for the game and fics, so why complain. come on. If you're actually starkly anti-drifteris??? (I can't believe that's even a thing. touch grass.) sorry but I'm going to continue to reblog drifteris here regardless of it not being my otp. A lot of it is really sweet. We can do both. Both is good. Two cakes yk.
