guardian levi / orphan eren [au]

His door was open a sliver. Levi blinked. This was almost unheard of.

Eren traditionally refused to let anyone in on his life by any means. The curiosity got the better of him, and Levi was stepping forward towards Eren’s bedroom door. It was practically silent as Levi approached, pausing just before it to see if he could hear anything — considering briefly if the brat was napping so late in the afternoon — but there was nothing. Levi touched his hand to the door and pushed it open a touch.

A split second later, the door came flying towards him, straight into his forehead, which made the loudest noise possible in conjunction with Levi’s hiss of surprise. “Ow— fuck!”

“Yo, what the fuck!?” Eren screamed beyond the door. Levi’s fingers went to his face, holding the throbbing skin of his forehead. Wow, really!?

“What the fuck are you—l?!” Levi shouted, trying not to indicate how deeply painful that slam was, “Eren!”

The door flew open, revealing a half dressed eighteen year old boy, a huge flush on his cheeks and scowl on his lips. “I’m fucking changing!” Levi dropped his hand immediately, certainly not wanting to signal his face was hurting. “What the hell, Levi?”

“Your—” Levi stopped himself.

Your door was open, was that a good enough reason to intrude on someone’s space? No, it was just interesting, and Levi was bored. That was a good enough reason. It’s not like Levi intended to see Eren… like this.

His eyes grazed down, noticing the younger boy’s flat chest, maybe just slightly skinnier than someone of his age should look like, but the older man brought his gaze back up to Eren’s as soon as possible. “I’m sorry, okay.” It was surprisingly relieving to admit that. “I was just checking on you…”

“Okay, well—” Eren stopped himself as well, “don’t. Next time,” he ended up saying just slightly quieter. 

“Whatever, shitstain,” Levi replied offhandedly, cringing internally at how instantly awkward it became. “Why don’t you take a shower?”

“I don’t need a shower,” Eren said with a sigh, letting go of the door and stepping backwards, relenting. Levi felt victorious for some reason. “I’m going out to meet someone.”

Someone…? Though they lived together, Levi didn’t know much about Eren, but he feared that 'meeting someone’ was code for: “I'm going out to get fucked.”

Levi should have left it alone, but his pride wouldn’t allow him. Why wasn’t Eren getting dressed to try his luck letting Levi fuck him? It’s not like Eren knew this or anything, but Levi was fucking amazing at fucking.

Honestly, it was a little pitiful that Levi felt all Eren had to do was ask, and his cock would be the grungy little brat's. It was sick, really. He was Eren's legal guardian. Eren was Levi's charge, essentially. Thinking about wanting to fuck someone who could be legally viewed as his child was... low.

What felt like the one last intelligent brain cell in Levi's head rightfully knew better than to guide the teenaged boy how to shit where he eats.
