he’s surprised when he hears the assignment for the next couple weeks—mostly because most of the trainees that he knows are not vocalists. he’s barely a vocalist himself, if only by the definition that he’s most definitely not a rapper. he used to sing when he was busking with a band, but that was also mostly just harmonizing on his part though he’s trying to get better. he’s been putting in a lot of effort during vocal practice, if only to make up for the fact that he’s a terrible dancer too.
the struggle is real. honestly, all he can think of is that he’s grateful he had signed a dual contract to model as well as be a trainee, or he probably wouldn’t be too sure what he was doing here.
finding @lmsomi in the canteen usually wasn’t too hard, and he sets his tray down next to her when he’s gotten his food, heaving a loud sigh. “how are you doing with the eval?” dongmin asks, sounding almost weary even though he’s been doing very well with his practice. it’s just a mood nowadays, considering he has a few final projects that he’s been working on with school, and along with modelling and training—he’s just always tired, and he doesn’t think that’s going to change until the semester ends.
