What madman hires a divorced couple to play enemies only 3 years after their public dramatic divorce? Though maybe it's genius, I would watch the show just to analyze all their scenes

Basically in this au, I have it that JTTW was also a major drama 15 years prior that was extremely popular, its how Liu er and Wukong met, making them a rather famous couple, so when they divorced and stopped working together it was the biggest gossip to come out of celebrities, so pairing them together to act in, the sequal to JTTW, aka Monkie kid, caused a huge Public reaction, and immedoantly up'ed the views on the show ;)

As both became the biggest names in the film industry after JTTW.
