4 years ago the #lmnadeassociates teamed up to help @loitheboi film @floeydrama ‘s solo trailer for @breakinconvention Their trailer was a direct nod to the film #lahaine and it’s positive portrayal of breaking & hip-hop culture. The scene is one of the most honest and poignant examples of hip-hop. As riots are kicking off, and the Police are chasing everyone in sight, the bboys keep breaking in the corner. To get perfect headspins they ignore the chaos and the police, and in turn the chaos and police ignore them.
