Is Hellen Autistic/Neurodivergent?

2.0 Spoilers Ahead!!

Because, look at it this way:

Hellen has noise-cancelling headphones in her apartment, is particular with not being pushed/bothered, and can come off as flat, or very blunt, when speaking (Which can be read as autistic/neurodivergent traits)

The hockey mask likely feels uncomfortable to wear (sensory issues?) and can allude to “masking” as a neurodivergent individual

(Under the context of SamHellen) Hellen becoming comfortable with Sam and not wearing her mask as often can be read as acceptance of her being neurodivergent and “unmasking” in both a literal and social way

When she unmasks around the Rat Child, it could be symbolic of how the “unmasked” version of her is something the child is more comfortable with because she’s not putting up a front both literally and socially

Gardening/Helping things grow could be her special interest, which means that Sam bonding with her over it is part of why it means so much to her

Knives/Blades could also be a special interest with how she admires the Hellsword and Poison Dagger. Making the gesture of her giving Sam her shears some more emotional emphasis because she’s entrusting another part of herself with him.

Hellen trying out new things could also read as her trying to find new interests because it makes bonding with others easier (Especially if you think about how quickly she gets better at MadWheels because of how she ends up enjoying it)

This is really just my own reading of some of her character, I really like how Hellen can be characterized!
