weeeell if that's the kind of thing you find fun and not a mind-bogging chore which I suspect it is... 9u9 I will admit imperialist propaganda does not fare high on the list of my priorities
i have not but all information i have indicates you're right
It really is quite amazing in basically every aspect. The lore, the visual aesthetic (a perfect blend of creepy and cute), the music (8bitmusictheory on youtube has some fantastic videos analyzing the music in hollow knight, but they’re very plot spoilery if you care about that), the world, the game play... ok well admittedly the game play starts off a bit slow and maybe overly simplistic, but once you unlock more of the knight’s move set it gets really interesting, with engaging platforming and combat segments. There’s just a lot to dig into, and nearly all of it is great. Rarely do you see a game of any kind, let alone an indie game from a small team, with such consistently high quality in every aspect of it’s construction.
It is on the longer end for an indie game, weighing in at approximately 30 hours or so for a first run, depending on how long it takes for the mechanics to click with you and how methodical you are in your exploration, but if you ever have around that much free time on your hands, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
so I know I'm probably not, like, original in telling you this, but I just find it necessary to confirm what you probably already know about yourself: you are, in fact, the best <3
