Olde Cape Cod Meets The QR Code!
Cape Cod was a landmark for early explorers like Captain Bartholomew Gosnold who named the tip Cape Cod in 1602, making it the ninth oldest English place-name in the United States.
Captain John Smith noted Cape Cod on his map of 1614 and the Pilgrims made their first landing near present-day Provincetown on November 11, 1620.

Now the Cape has evolved into a summer haven for city dwellers beginning at the end of the 19th century. Improved rail transportation from Boston made the towns of the Upper Cape accessible and visitors began branching out from there.

This rich history is now accented with the introduction of technology and the Lobster Pot is taking the lead as access to information goes from the desktop computer to the mobile phone. To enhance the experience of our guests, we have developed a program we fondly refer to Lobster Vision.
Lobster Vision is based on a Quick Response (QR Code) that links people to a series of videos featuring Cape Cod fishermen bringing in their catch. It’s a fun way to share the stories behind the fresh seafood that we serve and a way for people to see where their food actually comes from.
The code is on every lobster pager that we hand out to guests waiting for a table to become available. It's also posted on signage throughout our building as well as on display at participating businesses in Provincetown and beyond. As an added bonus, viewers are invited to take advantage of special offers in our Raw Bar and at the vendors who share our love of Cape Cod.
The goal is to unite the history and charm of Cape Cod with access to information and convenience that is the hallmark of modern times. We hope you will scan the code and enjoy the presentations, then take use the special offers to make your visit to Cape Cod more fun and affordable! Scan the code and let Lobster Vision show you a fun story and save you some money.
This lobster spaghetti was unreal. Cream and white wine sauce, saffron and chili. My belly is so happy.
Flushed
So my darling little brother has taken a liking to strateigically placing giant rubber cockroaches in my bedroom. Most would assume that since we have a cleaning lady that comes twice a month and live in the burbs of fairfax where the pests de la saison are ants and mosquitos never cockroaches, that naturally the unmoving critters are as fake as my spray tan (to be discussed later)
My reaction however is to scream bloody murder waking my poor sick father as he rushes into my room while I cry until he "catches" them and flushes them down the toilet (which I'm sure is now clogged.)
Since I enjoy a prank as much as the rest of them I don't see my brother's mischef as harm done. I only see it as a chance for me to step up my prank skills and give him a run for his money.
Just a little,
Friendly,
Un-Avengeful,
