I went to Pretty Heroes, a local con that focuses on Magical Girl/Shojo fandom. Attendance was surprisingly small (I wonder if it’s an aspect of timing between two larger cons or lack of guests to draw in folks or the location) so I went and did some spending in the dealers/artist hall because I know what it’s like to be at a con and make No Cash. I didn’t have much because I’m going to NYC in a week and a bit and I am on a budget and a half but mini haul: Poster and stickers from Effin Birds, one of my fave canadian comics, See you in Hell pin from Sugarbones, Majora’s Mask, Mononoke and Coffee pins from Celestial Fox, AMAZING TOON LINK sticker that MAKES ME CACKLE every time I see it from cinamoncune, THEY HAVE EMOTES you can use for discord check them out! and Quirkless sticker from CJART. Maybe go check them out if you’re looking for some neat things and send money their way if you have it. I genuinely worry artists won’t be making costs back this weekend.
