LISTEN: BRASS PAS PAS PAS PAS’ “I-GURLFRIEND”
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, superband Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas has put up “I-Gurlfriend” on Spotify.
“I-Gurlfriend” is from Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas’ album Greatest ‘Hits’. The band also previously released a video for the earlier hit “Chili Garlic Buttered Shrimp”, also from the album. Check out the video here.
We had Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas featured a few months back in PULP Magazine’s November 2016 Issue, where they shared that “‘I-Gurlfriend’ was written by Kakoy [Legaspi] (guitar/harmonica) with ‘The Total Entertainer’ Rico J. Puno in mind. Eh nung ginawa ni Mike (vocals), mismo na eh, so homage nalang kay Mike yan (laughs)” The track also features additional back-up vocals by Kat Agarrado, with horn arrangement of course by Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas’ own Francis De Veyra.
