Law
Non-compete agreements (also known as non-compete clauses, or covenants not to compete) are contract laws that employees sign under the terms that as an employee, they will not enter into another job, profession, or trade, in competition with their current employer. Non-compete agreements help to ensure that no business faces any wrongful acts that may cause financial injury to the company. These acts can come from many internal sources within any given organization.
Non compete agreement Arizona
In some states however, such as Arizona, non-compete agreements are not necessarily enforceable. A non-compete agreement in Arizona may fall under what is called the “blue pencil rule,” which allows Arizona courts to remove grammatically ambiguous or unreasonable clauses in a non-compete agreement, but keep the reasonable clauses. The court may also add in alternative provisions, also known as “step-down provisions.” According to Arizona courts, step-down provisions must be written in good faith, as well as be definite, easily serviceable, and consistent. Additionally, non-contract agreement cases in Arizona result in the “loser” paying the fees of both their own attorney, as well as the defendant’s attorney.

Customer Relationships Damage Control
Your company damaged its relationship with a valued customer and is on the verge of losing the account, but you can’t afford to lose them.
Here are some choices for repairing a hurt customer’s relationship.
Costs Analysis:
If you have a tenured relationship with this customer, re-examine your overall costs for this customer. You may be able to reduce your price if it has becomes less expensive to serve them.
Third party distributor:
Sell your products through a distributor if the customer starts to need more service or fewer quantities. If your service has declined while pursuing larger customers, get a third party to service your customer properly. Your ROI may be less than the current overhead.
Sell results:
If the customer can no longer buy your service or product by the unit, sell it by the hour or the final result. Many times Purchasers are asked to cut costs and spending by alleviating inventory. If this is the case, sell the customer what they need by the outcome. You can still have profit by providing them with results if they need your product.
Seek forgiveness:
Given your mistake was not premeditative or immoral, admitting you could have been more respectful or understanding will help turn the relationship around.
Change your value into a service:
If the customer can’t pay for your services to maintain products or equipment, sell them the training, guidelines or components they’ll need in order to perform their own maintenance.
Once the situation is resolved, a formerly damaged customer relationship can end up being better than it ever was before the problem ever occurred.
