Launching Your Application
Think of yourself now as an app developer with a useful little app for iOS and Mac. At first, you do not need to think big. Get a general idea of things by starting off at the easiest level. One method of doing this is by translating the app market description. This can be a fast way to test things out. It is probably true, for example, that potential users in Mexico do not even know the app exists because they just do not search in English. In addition, remember that optimization must be done. This should include the app title, market description and change log as well as keywords based on local language and cultural demands.
Localization is the next step. After you localize the application description, the next step is to start watching download statistics in the related languages and countries. If you see a lot of growth in downloads you should start planning on localizing the application itself. Extending your application descriptions to Chinese will more than likely mean additional downloads, but localization can grow your app a great deal.
