a lot of people told me don’t get a drone. “it’s basically illegal to fly everywhere” is the common argument. that got better the week after I bought it, but also, maybe people just want everything to be easy. everything isn't easy.
how much space do you need to learn a new craft? to learn how things look from unexpected angles?
it’s challenging for sure. there are a lot of restrictions on my flying set of knives. plus, at least where I am it’s not common to see them yet and people aren’t sure how to react when they do. one more reason for farmers to yell at me, I guess.
the thing about life is if you don’t take a stand somewhere and claim some space on this earth the louder, less sensitive, less caring people will run right over you. they’ll push you into a space so small you can’t even breathe anymore. yes it’s tiring to have to research things. to feel like you’re doing something wrong all the time when you’re just trying to document your life, or even have some fun. but if you don’t push back when the world pushes you you’ll end up with an empty SD card sitting in front of reruns of the bachelor.
