When next Butch tries to enter his home, he will find that the door is entirely blockaded. It is in fact blocked by a giant mountain of fresh hot hash browns. There is no one kind; there is everything from shredded hash browns to tater tot style hash browns, block hash browns, square hash browns, weirdly spherical hash browns, a star shaped hash brown, one that looks just like Butch's face. But most of all, there is an absurd amount of McDonald's hash browns. All in wrappers. Some in multiple wrappers. There has to be at least a hundred hash pounds here.

Butch hadn’t bothered to lock his door when he went out traveling—it was a place out in the middle of nowhere afterall, but he’s surprised to find that he’s unable to push the door open no matter how hard he shoves his shoulder against the wood. It’s almost as if something is on the other side blocking the door!
So, the cowboy does the next best thing and shatters one of the front windows with his fist before hopping on inside (he could always get his landlord to fix it later). His eyes widen at the sight of the pile of…of… were those hash browns???
Butch slowly approaches the avalanche debris of hash browns and kneels down, picking one up and giving it a sniff. It’s hot to the touch! And smells incredibly greasy. Who the hell had broken in just to put these here? And…why?
Valentine, his pig, had let herself inside through the back door and had long been gorging herself on the seemingly endless and freshly prepared potatoes. Oh yeah—he did have a back door, didn’t he? She doesn’t seem to mind how hot in temperature they are. Butch takes note of each uniquely shaped and sculpted hash brown, absolutely baffled by the sight. He’s appreciative though—he would have a side for every meal for a long long time! Especially if they remained in this state.
“…Maybe th’ universe’s lookin’ out fer me, afterall, Val. These’re from that one fancy fast food place I told ya ‘bout!!” He exclaims with a smile, picking up one of the McDonald’s hashbrowns and taking a big ol’ bite. “Mmmm~!”
